Our next meeting is in January. More info on the meeting will be posted later on. Our meetings are usually on Friday nights and at them, we discuss club matters and have a fun craft at the end. Achievement Night was So Much Fun!
I'm so glad so many of our members were able to attend! Congratulations to everyone who submitted a portfolio this year! That is a hug accomplishment for yourself! I would also like to say a special Congratulations to Hope for winning 3rd place on her portfolio in the Intermediate Division! I hope next year more members of our club will submit their portfolios.You all did a fantastic job and worked really hard! Thank you to Cyndi and her kids and to Christy & Kailee for the fancy table decorations! Teen Council's Dessert auction added a special treat to the night. Thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes!

April 6, 2013 Meeting Minutes
Location: Findlay Toyota Dealership
Date: April 6th, 2013
Call to order: 10:15 a.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge were recited by Hope.
Roll call was answered by 10 members.
Minutes: read aloud by Janelle. No changes or additions to the meeting minutes.
Treasurer’s Report: Dana reported $50 dollars collected, bringing the total to $410 dollars.
Field Trip Committee: Springs Preserve.
Community Service Committee: Red Rock clean-up.
New Business: Poultry Night, County fair, fair attire of white button-up, black pants and green tie/bow, and mention of documentation of all activities, events and meetings stored in your 4-H journal. Hope asks if any person would like to be a part of a dog committee. The 6 volunteers include Sam, Hope, Dana, Janelle, Cole, and Madison.
Madison presented her egg hatching presentation. Sam presented his vermicomposting presentation.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:Raffle tickets for fair- $1/1 ticket OR $5/6 tickets

Field Trip Committee suggestions includes Red Rock Canyon, Mount Charleston, and Gilcrease Orchard.
Community Service Committee formed by two 4-H members: Madison and Cole.
New Business: in
Recycled Garden Container to show at the 4-H fair by Madison, Cupcake decorating at the 4-H fair, and showmanship of various animals. Trinity's project is Dog Agility, Madison’s project is Hatching Eggs, and showing her chicken, & Jade’s project is Photography, Hope's project is chicken showmanship too.
President Hope proposes summer meetings, all in favor.
President Hope proposes that adults have a separate meeting. Jade seconds the motion. Motion passed.
President Hope proposes Thomas the Tank Engine volunteer job at the Southern Nevada Railway, on April 7th, at 8:15am-12:15am with rotating shifts.
Kailee seconds the motion. Motion passed.
